| 07.11.2012 – LEGO has been around since it was introduced in 1949 and ever since then other toy manufacturers followed suit to producing their own construction toys. Some have closed up shop and others continue to be its fierce competitor.
Besides LEGO we got Mega Bloks, KRE-O (manufactured by Korean company OxFord for Hasbro), and K’Nex who started to release their own creations. |
But overall nothing compares LEGO to any construction toy and they have been around for more than fifty years. They are the pioneers of this type of play for kids and the kid at heart.
