LEGO® Ninjago | Garmadon #1

LEGO® as company continue to expand not only in creating new sets yearly, but also how they market their brand. In the age or original content it’s been a challenge to create stories based on all-new content. This includes creating a mythology for something it is based from a LEGO® theme.

Ninjago is an original LEGO® creation and has been around for more than a decade expanding into an animated CGI series, and the 2015’s feature length theme. IT is considered one of the longest original content from LEGO® that continue to release its own themed sets and going back to its original roots why it is popular with children and those who have grown up to pass the toys to their own kids.

There hasn’t been LEGO® Ninjago published in the realm of the comicbooks or graphic novels until Skybound Entertainment, the creators of The Walking Dead acquiring the rights to produce a new series that would delve through the original characters from world of Ninjago, and also introduce Garmadon to the world!

MIAS 2022 | LEGO® Vespa 125

Vespa scooter is a design icon and a popular ride that became its own subculture. The popularity has spawned due to challenging times, and became the simplest lifestyle in driving a small vehicle. LEGO® has produced a set for their Creator Expert range due to its icon status.

This set is aimed at AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO) with impressive details, and if you saw it in person chances are you have been at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), where this was displayed beside its real world counterpart.

MIAS 2022 | Brick Built Ferrari 512 M

The Ferrari 512 M is one of most important cars in their racing history, which was a later model follow the Ferrari 512 S. It is being raced at the iconic Le Mans, which competed with Ford GT-40. This V-12 powered race car is not just an icon, but it is a prototype produced by Scuderia Ferrari.

LEGO® has produced the 512 M under the Speed Champions sub-range of licensed cars from all over the world, and it is the current kit that is released for 2022. This car was also produced in a larger brick-built scale that is on display at this year’s MIAS!

05.28.2018 – LEGO® the pioneering brand has produced different kinds of base plate in all shapes and sizes that required a particular set. But lately the recent sets don’t depend much on the base plate and it’s also sort of an excuse for cost cutting.

The most common base plate nowadays are sold with the standard 32 x 32 in dimension as part of the LEGO® Classic which is in green and recently re-released blue plate for all the fun creative ideas for kids out there. But since there are no smaller size plate Target came up with this one.

Adelaide’s City Library does that too and more with a wide variety of books for research and study to foreign articles for everyone. But what makes this library stand out is the support in building your imagination through LEGO® that caters from the age of 1 to 99 and they don’t charge you to play!

Happy Meal 2008 Feat. LEGO® Batman!

12.10.2016 – This won’t be considered entirely as a LEGO® set or minifigure, but collectibles from McDonald’s Happy Meal. This would still be related to LEGO® despite being part of a promo regarding the release of LEGO® Batman videogame in 2008.

But the interest of LEGO® license themes such as Batman from DC Comics wasn’t as popular now that he’s the star of the upcoming 3D animated film in 2017. The breakout star in 2014’s The LEGO® Movie has certainly found its sequel, sort of.

Kobe Bryant Officially Announced His Retirement!

11.30.2015 – This might not be related to LEGO®, but surely for those who where aware of the Sports subtheme would remember that for a season in 2003 they collaborated with the National Basketball Association.

Earlier today Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has confirmed that this 2015-2016 will be his last as he announced his retirement. LEGO® produced sets based on the Basketball theme which included a Kobe Bryant minifigure.

10.30.2015 – This year something big and hairy is making a visit to the LEGO® CITY. You might skip town as this Halloween season this creature is making a visit at the same time making some property damage to local residence.
