12.28.2013 – LEGO® Friends expands to more new sets for this year. But they already have the 2014 releases as early as now available in Australia. Taking a closer look at the Water Scooter Fun set no. 41000 which features a mini-doll figure named Kate.
Kate is Olivia’s friend aboard a colorful water scooter who loves exploring the beaches of Heartlake City. The set has 28 pieces which includes the mini-doll figure for you to build. |
Besides the colorful water scooter and the mini-doll figure, Kate also comes with flippers that she can use. It’s attached to the water scooter for storage and to avoid losing it. The standard LEGO® Friends packaging comes in purple and magenta.
LEGO® Friends sets are compatible with other LEGO bricks. But the mini-doll figure is made for the series which measures over 1" (3cm) high, 2" (7cm) wide and 2" (6cm) long. Kate is taller than the LEGO® minifigures and definitely unique in its design. The set also includes the buildable dock where the water scooter can park.

Building it is quick and easy but assistance in putting the set together younger than ages 5 to 12 years old is a must. Now exploring the beaches of Heartlake City will definitely be fun with Kate and her colorful water scooter.

Overall the LEGO® Friends Water Scooter Fun is a simple set for younger children but highly advice for ages 5-12 as it contains small pieces. The mini-doll figure is modest with its detailed sculpt which makes them unique from the popular minifigures.
The Water Scooter Fun is retailed at $9.00 AU dollars acquired at Big W in Adelaide, South Australia.
