Mighty Micros | Batman vs. Harley Quinn

02.07.2020 – LEGO® Superheroes from both DC and Marvel continue to expand but for the Mighty Micro Series is slowly winding down on the third sets from both ranges released in 2018. The take away from the last sets can be found through the odd pairings and unique character choices.

DC Comics have some interesting set of characters for the line-up under the Mighty Micros theme. But the most notable is related to the world of Batman. The last few sets that focused on either Batman or his Rogue Gallery with this set No 76092!

The last set of DC Superheroes Mighty Micros Series has an interesting pairings most focused from both Batman worlds with one Superman-related set featuring Supergirl and Brainiac. The pairings for the Batman-related theme features Joker VS Nightwing and Batman VS Harley Quinn.

In all the three Mighty Micros for 2018 this set is the most popular followed by Joker VS Nightwing, which leaves Supergil VS Brainiac as the shelf warmer as this one you’ll find in most retail stores that is a leftover even during clearance in Australia or even in the recent major sale at all LEGO® Certified Stores and general retail.

Colorful Box Full of Bat Builds

The third series of Mighty Micros indicated that the colors of the boxes are different from the previous ones having more art than the physical background depicting the product. This set contains 86 pieces that compose of black, grey, red, and blue elements and pieces based on the featured characters on this set.

It’s a quick build that reveals that there no sticker labels, but Batman’s cape is packed separately in the tiny box. Putting this set features two separate instruction manuals in building the Batwing and the Wind-up Car.

Wheeled Power Batwing VS Wind-up Harley Car

Like all the Mighty Micros they follow a certain template that has been introduced all the way back to the very first sets. The minifigures are still using short legs and the facial expressions are still “kiddie-fied” as LEGO® targets this type of sets to younger kids. But the sets have smaller pieces that need kids to be guided by an adult have this put together.

The Batwing appears to have non-firing guns while Harley’s car features a non-working wind-up feature, which has that extra piece in case you lose it. But what’s the most interesting in this set is Harley Quinn herself as the minifigure includes a huge mallet and the details of her car contemplating her personality as the Joker’s sidekick.

Overall this Mighty Micros build is certainly a quick build having little parts and details. But the takeaway in getting this set is Harley Quinn, which have bright blue and red colors that match the minifigure.

Batman is interesting too but that huge bat emblem is easily a target for a minifigure that takes you back to the concept of having the yellow ellipse surrounding the bat symbol. But entirely, this is a good set that can be recycled for other MOCs and just keep Harley as the favorite.

LEGO® DC Superheroes 76092 Mighty Micros: Batman vs. Harley Quinn was released major retail stores and this was sold in the Philippines as part of the clerance at the LEGO® Certified Store in the Ayala Malls The 30th, where this was acquired.
