Brickstameet at Himeji Gardens | 10 Nov 2019

11.08.2019 – Brickstameet gatherings are happening once again this time at Himeji Gardens in Adelaide, South Australia. This event is open to everyone and all you need is a bunch of LEGO® Minifigures without the need to create or build anything.

It is another Southern Bricks LEGO® Users Group Photography Day. It is going to be another fun filled Sunday outdoors with friends and family that will surely be a delightful adventure taking photos of your favorite LEGO® Minifigures!

Brickalaide 2019 | Best Exhibits to See!

04.19.2019 – Brickalaide is one of the biggest LEGO® events in Australia and a major event in Adelaide on its fifth year since its first show in 2015. This event brings the best and brightest AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO®) from South Australia.

For the second year in a row it is part of the Kidz Gigantic Day Out event at the Adelaide Convention Centre in downtown. The local community of Southern Bricks will be in full force with their interesting builds and other surprises!

Hybrid World Adelaide | SBLUG Interactive Exhibit

07.23.2018 – On its second year Hybrid World Adelaide continues to evolve now held at the heart of the city. With emerging technologies how can a Danish toy company continue to be relevant? Simple, a community like SBLUG share their passion for LEGO keeping these plastic bricks alive.

This is the first time Southern Bricks LEGO® Users Group (SBLUG) participates in this year’s Hybrid World Adelaide with interactive activities and interesting displays. If Brickalaide and Brick Barossa was not enough this adds another event for you.

Brickstameet 2018 | Mt. Lofty Botanic Garden

04.30.2018 – Brickstameet held yesterday at Mt. Lofty Botanic Garden was one of the best gatherings for the ever growing LEGO® Photographers of South Australia. The Family oriented activity was a picnic and bonding time with AFOLs and their kids as well as enthusiast who are passionate with the hobby.

Narrelle and 42 lead the pack to a nature hiking that is also a healthy thing to do for those who just enjoy the nature. This was a fun Sunday for new members who joined and it was another successful meet-up that had a good turn out.

Shop Spotlight | Inside the LAYGO Store

09.16.2017 – Laygo is one of the two third party stores that specializes the LEGO® brand as its main product since there has no LEGO® Certified Store in South Australia. It’s one of the go to stores for part elements and other things LEGO®.

For those who resides in South Australia and have not heard of this store here’s something for you to look forward to besides looking for missing pieces and other hard-to-find sets. This is also a good place to spend your birthday parties too.

Build LEGO® Creations at Adelaide City Library!

01.09.2017 – Libraries used to be a place of study, research, and just plain reading. But in the internet age you’d be surprised that some libraries now allow you to use their facilities to surf the net, listen to audio books or even let you borrow movies.

Adelaide’s City Library does that too and more with a wide variety of books for research and study to foreign articles for everyone. But what makes this library stand out is the support in building your imagination through LEGO® that caters from the age of 1 to 99 and they don’t charge you to play!
