LEGO® 75827 Ghostbusters HQ Revealed!

10.27.2015 – If you’re not familiar with the Hook and Lander No. 8 Fire Station in down town New York you’ll never even bother to know what’s the relevance to LEGO®. Unless you have seen the Ghostbusters films and have acquired the LEGO® Ideas Ecto-1 that was released more than a year ago.

Last year it was announced that LEGO® will be producing a set to compliment the Ecto-1 that feature four Minifigures based on the Ghostbusters team.

Collectively every fan who grew up to see the original in 1984 will remember the movie or even The Real Ghostbusters cartoon that was being shown on a Friday night in the Philippines. For Adult Fans of LEGO® it’s certainly something they would cop up and collect the set that came out. Then there’s the Fire House that was finally revealed through Facebook and Instagram by LEGO® that everyone went nuts…

The iconic Ghostbusters Headquarters is finally revealed through social media and everyone went crazy. Its either you have to sell your old sets or have to dig up those deep pockets to save up on what would be the Ecto-1’s garage.

But for the Ghostbusters fan that have grew up watching the movies and cartoons or who collected the action figures including the vehicles will definitely anticipate this with images provide by LEGO® below:

In reality it’s a Fire House known as the Hook and Ladder No. 8 which was built in 1904 an exterior of the Ghostbusters Headquarters located at Franklin to North Moore Street in New York City. The interior scenes for the movie are taken from Fire Station No. 23 in Los Angeles California. But the Fire House is as iconic as the movie that gave its identity in the popular culture.

LEGO® announced that it will be released in January 2016.
