| 02.17.2019 – Usually family gatherings and special occasions happen on a Sunday, but not in the Philippines as the weekend is reserved for both days. With that the event happened yesterday was the special block screening for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part organized by Pinoy LUG (Pinoy LEGO Users Group) for their community.

The block screening is more of a step up to more of a family oriented occasion aching to a close-knit environment more about the kids and their parents than just a run on the mill collector-minded focused gathering. The attendance has more families getting together than your usual Filipino Collector community celebrating the screening of the even they have tie-up with sponsors providing the showbags that includes goodies for the children to enjoy.
Besides the showbag giveaway each attendee gets to take home one mystery minifigures from the previous releases namely from the Disney Series, Minifigures Series 18, and Harry Potter. There was enough minifigures to go through happy viewers of this film.
There were also raffle giveaways that where drawn prior to the screening taking home LEGO sets from the movie courtesy of some of the members who sponsored this event. It was a simple meet-up with the members of PinoyLUG more focused on the family oriented environment as the LEGO brand WAS and STILL produced for children that certainly made good with the celebratory Saturday.
