| The recent updates in local retail shows how the distribution has been disrupted with only select shops getting updates sparingly. But for Toys R’ Us in Greenblet 5, despite those challenges they still manage to bring in new sets to their store even though they only have one distributor for the brand.
For those anticipating the summer blockbusters animation and live action films, there are also the tie-in merchandise and the licensed sets from Marvel and Disney Pixar just recently dropped at this particular store in a subtle way. |
For the past months early this year, there has been wave after wave of LEGO® assortments being released and with the shipping challenges recently you can still find some of these sets appearing in select shops. But surely, they will be more coming and for now these Marvel and Disney assortments certainly was sighted.
It’s interesting to find out that these assortments have started appearing in local retail around the world after the teaser trailers have been released. Of course, very few would have seen the images leaked but this confirms officially that they are now available at Toys R’ Us Greenbelt 5.
Love & Thunder
Hot on the trailer reveal a few days ago is the highly anticipated Thor Love & Thunder. The fourth installment of this film surpasses Captain America and Iron Man as the film to see in July 2022. But of course, Doctor Strange will be opening up this May 4th, and based on the staff at the store the set based on this Multiverse of Madness has been already restock twice.
But Love and Thunder is the spotlight here, two sets featuring all the main cast and noticeable product image of Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor wielding a rebuilt Mjolnir, but not evident in the minifigure’s accessory. Surely, the set have interestin Easter eggs and spoilers. Just that Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder are not minifigure, but you have to build them that most LEGO® collectors pointed out.

Lightyear
The unexpected animated feature from Pixar Animation Studios is a little title called “Lightyear,” which is based from the Buzz Lightyear action figure that appeared in the Toy Story franchise. This time it delves on the ‘real life’ character or is it a feature film inside the Toy Story universe?
There’s no surprising this is going to be one of the animated films to see in the big screen as the tie-in merchandise gives you that serious sci-fi vibes not to mention the XL-15 Spaceship gives you that LEGO® Classic Space vibe for longtime AFOLs wanting to get their hands on this ship and make some minor changes in the colour is screaming with curiosity.
