Louis Vuitton | Fashion Meets with Bricks

There are unique collaboration, and some of them really benefit in growing brand together that keeps them relevant individually. With LEGO® and Louis Vuitton it takes a new level of appreciation how both are iconic brands that can work together.

This glass display has been spotted late in the afternoon at the posh side of Greenbelt mall, where all the high end clothing product related to fashion and gadgets can be found in one of the most highly commercialized side of the Makati CBD.

Louis Vuitton is one of the biggest brands out there in terms of fashion namely, clothing, shoes, and other accessories that partners with the world’s popular toy brand in LEGO® certainly takes a notch up there to say these brands are great in their own right that collaborating together makes them even more popular.

With LEGO® celebrating 90 years as a company, the Holiday installations in partnership Louis Vuitton certainly something uniquely impressive as well. The installation is not only seen here in the Philippines, but also in other countries that shows that the Danish Toy Brand is no longer just the “toys” you have grown up with, but also can partner up with a luxury brand like Louis Vuitton for Christmas.

The installation featuring stylized Christmas tree that tailors to Louis Vuitton aesthetic, where conceptualized by Certified LEGO® Professionals. But in the Philippines this would be different knowing that the brand is only distributed not by LEGO® directly, but by Ban Kee Inc that may not be collaborating with the local franchise by the local owners that owned the Louis Vuitton brand.

Window displays would follow the certain uniformity on what the set up would look like in all the Louis Vuitton stores including the stores in the country, but when you look closely on the pile of bricks that made up of the installation is not what you expect to be. But for those who would be there and have a keen eye to look at the details you’ll immediately notice it.

But as they say image is everything, and despite the difference on how the franchise owners of Louis Vuitton has approached the set up without the acknowledgement of a local distributor of the LEGO® in the Philippines its importance in how to make things worked and keep the installation as close to their counterparts in other countries or as they say “Fake it til’ you make it.”

The LEGO® + Louis Vuitton Holiday display installation will be seen at all their stores for the rest of the season until the first of January 2023.
