LEGO® City Nat Geo at TRU in Robinsons Magnolia!

06.05.2020 – The summer season is almost done in the Philippines but in other countries it might be winter or in North America, which is the start of the later mentioned season. With that new sets for the second quarter of 2020 at the same time the previous sets released early this year becomes special offers or sale in most countries.

If you haven’t caught up with the recent ‘new arrivals’ they slowly start to appear on retail stores in Metro Manila. Outside of that there’s no news but you can inquire directly with Ban Kee Bricks for that.


In the recent sighting the LEGO® DOTS is the highlight, which is a hit not only with young kids but also with AFOLS in other countries due to their functional use and creative ideas due to the unique tile pieces and a plethora of new colors not available in the standards sets from other themes.

So far not much has picked up interest with the bracelets and the Extra Dots. But other countries such as in Australia has caught up that they’re mostly sold out that you won’t see the complete first releases that just dropped in Manila in the last week of the month in May. But surely they’ll be someone out there already tinkering unique ways to wear their LEGO® creations not just for girls this includes the boys too.







LEGO® Friends Play Cube Series 1

These pocket size sets featuring characters and their various personalities from the world of Friends theme. The first series focus on five characters and each cube comes with a mystery pet that is exclusive in this series. Besides that the cubes are interconnecting with the other cubes that you can stack and expand.

Each cube has a story on its own which includes elements make performance plays come to life. Besides the interconnectivity with the other cubes it also comes with special stickers that you can decorate that is also easy to build straight away with super simple instructions.

LEGO® City Nat Geo Explorer & More

For this year the City theme expands its exploration sets from 2019’s space collaboration with NASA, and now with National Geographic that explores the deep oceans putting together submersibles and expedition ships that highlight the concept inspired by actual vehicles that takes you to the unchartered depths of the sea.

There other sets that is not part of the theme, but still continues with the concept of exploration this time with wildlife in the African outback like the Safari Off-Roader that was released early this year that is a unique set to itself that awaits a new adventure that is consider one of the interesting kits for the City theme.

LEGO® Creator 3 in 1

It’s a menacing fast food truck that can immediately call out your attention due to the absurdity of the sheer massive tires of this set. This is not a new set that was released recently but was included in the first quarter release that was seen sometime in mid-February as one of the favorites for the Creator theme.

This is a food truck that trembles not only for your hungry belly but the entire neighborhood that sure is something that will definitely left unnoticed due to its outrageous concept that can also be rebuilt into two more easy-to-build off-road vehicles that’s definitely opens up new imaginations for young kids.
