| 08.04.2015 – “The Big Bang Theory” is currently one of the longest running American sitcom in US television. Every season the show becomes popular with Leonard and Sheldon with Penny as the central characters of the show.

The collaboration between fan designers Ellen Kooijman (aka Alatariel) and Glen Wadleigh (aka Glen Bricker) produced “The Big Bang Theory” set based from Leonard and Sheldon’s apartment a fixture of the show where the story mostly revolves has become a LEGO® Ideas set officially announced in June 3, 2015 and this definitely is something for the fans of the show to look forward to its release.
For Ellen it was a fun experience collaborating with Glen for this project long time fans of the show. Currently set to air for its ninth season this month “The Big Bang Theory” is certainly growing in popularity and this must be their first LEGO® set based on the show and both designers talked about this in this video below:
The creation of the set was further polished by LEGO® model designer Steen Sig Andersen and graphic designer Mathew Boyle worked to keep the set design as true as possible from its original creators of this project. Ellen Kooijman had the chance to see the on-hand final set that fans will get once its official available this month.
