71021 Minifigures | Cake Guy & Brick Guy

04.16.2018 – The LEGO® Minifigures Series 18 has been already out now and they are always sold out in most retail stores in Australia. It’s the most sought after series to date due to the 40th Anniversary for t LEGO® Minifigures with the Police Man.

Mostly everyone is keeping an eye on the Police Man as its one per box. The other minifigures are not given much spotlight as the iconic minifig that is celebrating 40 years of the modern Miniifigure. So here are two characters that were released for series 18 to commemorate the celebration.

The minifigures have been an iconic part of LEGO® dating back to the late 1960s, but the modern Minifigure complete with arms and legs didn’t made appearance until 201 that’s why the Police Man is rare in one box. In auctions sites like eBay as of this wiring commands $50 AU Dollars as one of the three figures that was released forty years ago the other two is a Knight from Castle series and Spaceman for Space range.

Series 18 has 17 minifigures to collect not since Series 10, but there are interesting characters in this current theme. They now come with orange stands instead of the usual black stands since series 1. But we’re take a closer look at the two minifigures that you might find interesting aside from that sought after Police Man.

You can have Cake Man but can’t eat it

The Birthday Cake Guy looks jolly wearing Spaceman Benny’s smile and why you should not flash that glee when you represent the celebration of LEGO® 86th Birthday. The minifigure is complete with legs and a party hat that looks interesting.

But the one that’s the one you need is the new cake piece where Cake Guy’s legs can slot inside like jumping out of the cake. By now anyone with a naked minifigure will have hilarious ideas about using this cake piece for their female minifigure’s bachelor party where a naked minifigure is all set to surprise.

FEEL TIP: Going through the packs Birthday Cake Guy is the easiest to notice with that large cake piece you won’t miss this sorting through the packs.

Sixty Years of being a famous block head

LEGO® is celebrating sixty years for its famous interlocking brick that most rival companies are using for their product. Its now represented by this minifigure from series 18 with the other is female in blue carrying a 1x1 red piece.

But this Brick Suit Guy surely is a happy one like the female version he carries a 1x1 blue piece. Probably second interesting character in the minifig bunch and you need the female version too as they come in pairs if you only need these characters.

FEEL TIP: If you’re only after the brick couple you can easily feel the brick the challenge there is the hairpiece as sometimes its hard to decipher the male from the female piece and you might get a double of the same figure.

Overall they might not be as highly important as the Police Man, but the Cake Man and Male Red Brick is a fun pair to have if you’re not entirely a completist and just one the selected few for this series. This was acquired at KMart in Westfield Marion for $5.00 AUD each.
