Brick Barossa 2018 | Interactive LEGO® Event

07.07.2018 – Brick Barossa is one of the few events that is solely related to feature the LEGO brand. It has been held every other year since 2016 and its an interactive LEGO fan event which is held at St. Jakobi Lutheran School in Lyndoch, happening over the weekend from July 7 to 8, 2018.

For its second time Brick Barossa features exhibits from the Southern LEGO Users Group. There are also hands-on areas that will keep the kids busy including interactive areas that features LEGO remote controlled vehicles and robotic Mindstorms that will give young ones inspiration to build their own.

This was a month long plan in the making after the Twilight Brickstameet at Semaphore Beach in February this was the next one that has been in discussion among the regulars who have attended the event.

The exhibits is spread out to the school’s rooms from the main hall to the library and other areas of the campus. From dioramas to impressive displays by the members of SBLUG, kids and adults will get the chance to see them all.

Besides the ongoing exhibits Brick Barossa is a funfilled family oriented activity that let the community in the area get to see how LEGO is not just a mere child’s toy, but an interesting learning tool and opens a child’s creativity. This also inspires creativity and interest for adults and parents who have grown up with the brand.

In case you missed out Saturday’s exhibits and happenings here are some images taken during the day how St. Jakobi had so many visitors talking to exhibitors as well as interacting with like minded LEGO fans, see below:

Besides the exhibits and the interactive areas Brick Barossa has compliments at the same time children can play and build LEGO. There was only one retailer who participated for this event and that is Brick Lady, were you can get some interesting sets and LEGO related merchandise. There is also inflatable jump castle for kids to play that’s for FREE.
