LEGO® Certified Store | Shangri-La Opening Day

The Newest LEGO® Certified Store has finally opened, and it had a preview for special VIPs and a regular opening day that includes ribbon cutting and all that jazz whenever a new store opens having special discounts and promos for the first day, which it did happen and it is the first new store to be located in a prime location.

Its previous certified stores are located in places general crowds do not often get lost into, and it was a breath of relevance that a new LCS would be located at a shopping centre that is accessible to everyone.

Despite this mall is not the place most of the masses do frequent to, but the next shopping centre next door. But with all the celebration it is a EGO® Certified Store that carry the very basic and exclusive services that the store only have to offer that no other retail stores have. The standard LCS branch would have the Pick-A-Brick and Build-A-Figure sections of the store that you can immediately identify and see it at first sight.

Besides the two usual services an AFOL is familiar with, they also have brick engraving section, where you can personalize your chose LEGO® brick. There are also in-store set merchandise and set exclusives like the keychains and seasonal sets that they exclusively carry as well as sets that are entirely sold only to an LCS branch.

Relocated Old LCS

For those not in the know, this store is actually an old LCS that was originally located at the Ayala Malls 30th that was relocated to a more mainstream location. It is not entirely a new store, but if you have been to the old location this is the same store that LEGO® brand distributor Bankee have relocated to this current location.

But this time, it is not manned by a new staff that used to be three people. With the increased foot traffic it make sense that the staff now are more than its original crew. Of course, this new store have a slightly bigger floor space and enough new set display piece for you to drool over including the bigger ones that sold in other stores.

Accessible Store

In all the LCS that is now owned and operated by Bankee Trading, this is the most accessible of them all having located in the commercial district of Mandaluyong City the prediction of the store needed to be well-stocked for Pick-A-Brick and Build-A-Minifigure should be updated enough to be keep up with the demand now that it is located in a prime location that you only need an elevated train to commute from.

The farthest LCS location that also need an elevated train to get into is the same train that takes you to this location. But this one is much close from people from the south than coming from the north that have the LCS branch in Trinoma Mall, the last station where the train travels from south to north.

This is good news for walk-ins and first-time getting into building or collecting LEGO® sets. For more about the brand and what’s next updates from this LCS and other outlets, you may follow them on social media via on Facebook and Instagram!
