CMF Marvel Series 2 | She-Hulk

She-Hulk is rarely discussed in the same breath as his cousin Bruce Banner aka The Hulk. But her star shined as the character was portrayed in live-action on her Disney+ series in 2022. “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” was not what everyone expected in the end but it revealed what’s coming next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

LEGO® has recently released the latest CMF and Marvel’s second series featuring the characters that appeared on their respective Disney+ shows.

This second wave of characters had a better line-up and this includes Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk! This is also the first year that the LEGO® brand made a major change in the packaging shifting from blind bags to boxes that had a mixed reception no one “could feel” the bags anymore and not even a code was included for the collectors to decipher contents of the new packaging.

It was fortunate that one local retail department store took the risk by opening all the packaging at the same time identifying the contents through the numbering in the catalog to easily identify which one is in the contents. The downside of that leaves the unwanted characters not the favourite including She-Hulk.

Little Miss Walters

Of course, the packaging for She-Hulk was numbered to be easily identified as number 5 of 12. The other remaining characters that need adoration are Agatha Harkness (No. 1), Werewolf By Night (No., 4), and Echo (No.9) who have recently released her solo series on Disney+ as of this review.

For those not in the know who Jennifer Walters is, she is the cousin of Bruce Banner in the comics who received her powers through a blood transfusion after she was shot. But in the live-action series, the vehicle she and Bruce Banner were riding had a freak accident that forced the latter to donate his blood to save her.

Jade Beauty of Champion

The minifigure depicts Jennifer Walters in her She-Hulk form and outfit as the character did not have an alternate personality unlike her cousin Bruce as she kept all her memories and personalities if she “Hulks Out” or not. Besides that, she comes with two accessories, the folder that has the files on Emil Blonsky aka the Abomination, and a mobile phone that features Sorcerer Supreme Wong calling her.

This also comes with a black stand composed of three elements. There were no extra accessories, but an extra translucent piece that can be used as a stand that pegs on the jumper plate piece. The minifigure is well-detailed with the front and back print as well as the detail on the arms and the legs making this character an underrated favourite for those who never got the chance to see the series.

Overall, for those who never got the comic book-accurate version of She-Hulk, this is the best being based on the character that appeared in the show. Besides the exclusive accessories she comes with, the minfigure also has two faces printed as you can see in the images. Despite being “minifigure size” and not oversized like her cousin this one makes sense to add to your growing roster of Avengers.

Jennifer Walters has that smile and still beats up the bad guys and calls over Wong to hang out in his downtime from watching all the soap operas. She may not be your favourite Hulk, but this minifigure sure keeps things optimistic.
