Meet & Brick 17 | Chibi Mechs & MonoChroMOCs

After more than two years of hiatus the local events has started happening once again, and public events in the Philippines are a rarity especially if it’s in Metro Manila that is considered a melting pot to every form or type of hobby.

With LEGO® there have been events organized by the sole distributor of the brand in the country. But there are also local small scale events that cater to their community in 2022. They’re quite different from the usual LEGO communities in other countries, which is for some might say ‘traditional.’

Collecticon 2015: PinoyLUG Goes MOC Theme!

09.26.2015 – Collecticon 2015 has some interesting displays coming from local community groups in the Philippines. For its 8th year the organizers of HobbiWorx & Pinoy Toy Kolektors bring you this annual flea market-style event to mainstream.

Rarely you won’t see this in fan conventions but participation by community groups would inspire some to join. PinoyLUG is one such group that truly have aspirations…

iAcademy's C.A.V.E. Preview with PinoyLUG!

10.18.2014 – iAcademy’s C.A.V.E. (Collections of Art and Visual Expressions) happened earlier and it features a few groups from the toy community.

But before the event they also have the PinoyLUG (Pinoy LEGO® Users Group), which are the local community of AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO®).

Lately they have been consistent with their event appearances, since last month featuring some of their collections.
