| 08.08.2013 – Kre-O is slowly getting their brand into the spotlight with the expansion to G.I. Joe, which is one of Hasbro’s flagship products. Its interesting that they made the Battleship line based on the movie before G.I. Joe that most of the sets where reused.
They also started promoting them through Stop Motion Digital shorts that started with Transformers. |
Its hilarious these characters are put into different situations. In the case of G.I. Joe its worth noting the line is slowly being released in the US market, and hoping it makes it to South East Asia particularly the Philippines as fans are into military theme.
But in this stop motion digital short you’ll see the quirky minifigure versions of G.I. Joe characters that have the Joe and Cobra teams for a game of Dodge Ball.
It’s also worth noting that G.I. Joe would get a huge cult following due to long time fans who grew up seeing the classic cartoon and it’s a better venue to also introduce the line with more of these stop motion digital short in the future.
