| 10.09.2014 – Batman is celebrating its 75th anniversary and the year is not over as LEGO® announced the next Bricktober for 2014. It’s none other than the Bat Signal, which is as iconic as the character himself has been announced. |
Bricktober 2014 bring the Batsignal as its exclusive in the US in select TRU stores and it will be FREE once again a follow-up on last year’s Joker Bot. The Bat Signal has been synonymous with Batman since its first appearance on Detective Comics Vol.1 #60 in 1942. It has been a part of the Batman mythos and it is a specially modified Klieg searchlight with a stylized symbol of a bat attached to the light so that it projects a large Bat emblem on the sky or buildings of Gotham City.
Bricktober 2014 is surely getting batty with the Bat Signal scheduled to be available for building by kids at Toys R Us stores in the US. For more details check out the image below:
