LEGO® City | Fire ATV

01.06.2020 – The start of the year looks to be a challenging one for Australians as bushfires have started to go uncontrollably. It should raise awareness all over the state and also to the rest of the world that everyone should be ready when it happens.

LEGO® has been producing sets inspired by real world emergency responders it inspire young kids and inspire those who would be ready to volunteer. With that LEGO® has recently produced its latest iteration of what bushfire fighters should be equipped with and that is the Fire ATV!

The Fire ATV is not the first set that LEGO® ever produced as the early days of the Danish toy company they have put together some of the remarkable sets that inspire what is an emergency fire responder. Over the years there was an evolution to the set adding new parts and elements while retiring the previous ones.

It is rare that small sets can do big things to child who probably will aspire wanting to become a fire fighter. Because these days bigger sets are not as affordable as the ones that you’ll find as a build alternative or a starter set that can also for those who might interest in LEGO® and this is one good suggestive idea.

The Fire ATV is certainly not the most impressive set, but it packs what the description has for this build below:

The set has 39 pieces and a small buggy. It features one fire fighter minifigure. The buggy has black tires and a red hood. There is a light gray handlebar, a black bumper, a black back, and light blue transparent police lights. The fireman minifigure has a siren and a red hatchet.

It will only take you 5-7 minutes to build this set and it goes back to the impulse set that was discontinued in 2010. This new iteration of the Fire ATV may be small but it packs an update of the Fire Axe which used to be in gray and now has a red paint detail similar to the real world fire axe.

The fire fighter minifigure is not smiling but he sure is sweating from facing bushfires and it lacks a second facial expression. But the Fire ATV sure looks sturdy even a comparison with its older set from 2005 which is a Fire Car Set No. 7241 that features a standard Fire Fighter that was designated as the Fire Chief. But with the current set the standard Fire Fighter wears a red helmet.

This is certainly a fun build that also put together a team of bushfire fighters if you have the LEGO® Juniors 30338 Fire Car and you got yourself a crew that is ready to take on the rescue efforts for the most remote places in Australia or in other parts of the world that in need of a small crack team of emergency responders.

Overall the Fire ATV represents the modern emergency responders that can mirror the real world version of a bushfire fighter. This certainly a quick build set that is certainly have enough play value to educate, emulate and aspire young kids wanting to learn how to prevent and stop the spread of fire that includes the bushfire ravaging across the states of Australia.

LEGO® City 60361 Fire ATV was released in selected markets and this was part of a promo in the Philippines when you purchase any LEGO® City set worth ₱1,500 Philippine Pesos ($45.52 AUD | $ 29.69 USD)* in 2019 you can take this home as an incentive for FREE.
