LEGO® City | Wildlife Rescue Hovercraft

LEGO® City is an ever evolving and the longest running theme for the Danish brand. From the Town System as far back in 1979, which featured the modern minifigure that has grown to adapt and take inspiration in the real world. With countless sub-themes with the LEGO® City there’s more room to evolved, and with the addition of wildlife that introduced animals big and small chances are there are also some sets that are “taste testers” to those who haven’t had a set based on this particular series that’s based on the featured animals.

03.11.2020 – The Fire Prevention Month of March is being observed in the Philippines. It is the perfect time to discuss and raise awareness about the causes, hazards, and dangers of fire. It’s not only in the city but throughout the country including remote areas, which is also a good time to spotlight a LEGO® set. This LEGO® set is none other than the Fire Chief and his trusty off-road buggy set no. 30010, which is an impulse pack that was originally released in selected markets back in 2010. Even though this set is almost a decade it’s a reminder about fire prevention.

01.06.2020 – The start of the year looks to be a challenging one for Australians as bushfires have started to go uncontrollably. It should raise awareness all over the state and also to the rest of the world that everyone should be ready when it happens. LEGO® has been producing sets inspired by real world emergency responders it inspire young kids and inspire those who would be ready to volunteer. With that LEGO® has recently produced its latest iteration of what bushfire fighters should be equipped with and that is the Fire ATV!

05.14.2018 – LEGO® has so many themes that you won’t notice some of their own brands have been around long enough being left unnoticed. You’ve got Classics and Creators then you have “Juniors.” Before it was known for its current name it was known as Creative Building and then Bricks & More. “Juniors” has been around since 2014 targeting younger kids to get into building simple sets. It has expanded to include licensed properties still keeping its simplicity they also produced polybags sets like Impuse sets from back in the day.

LEGO® Nexo Knights | Motor Horse

04.02.2018 – The LEGO® Nexo Knights is one of the original themes from the Danish-based toy brand since being introduced in 2016 accompanied with an animated TV series being aired on Cartoon Network. There have been several sets produced for this theme about modern knights from Knighton. From the mobile castle set to the impulse polybag packs that feature this Royal Guard with his trusty Motor Horse that’s something to look at with this interesting set that’s quite unknown to some.

11.07.2015 – There has been popular licensed themes from LEGO®, but most of them are just one-offs meaning they don’t last more than three years unlike Star Wars that has been around since the late 1990s. But most of these one-offs are unique that makes them more invitingly collectible such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which has been discontinued by LEGO®. Their competitor just recently announced that they’ll now produce their version of the TMNT line, but before they do here is Mikey’s Mini-Shellraiser!

LEGO® Star Wars 8028: Mini Tie Fighter!

09.12.2015 – Tie Fighter is as iconic as Star Wars, since they where first introduced in Episode IV: A New Hope. These star fighters infuriate the Rebel Alliance and its formidable rivalry with the X-Wing. There have been several variations of the Tie Fighter from the basic set first introduced by LEGO® to the more detailed edition for adult builder. Every version out there has been release, but for the minimalist a Mini Tie Fighter will do too.
