| 11.08.2015 – After putting together the Fierce Flyer the alternate builds for the Creator 3-in-1 set takes a closer look at the Beaver. Nope it does not have a first name like Justin but it’s certainly a rodent-like creature worth taking a second look.
Creator themes are great way to explore your skills in building sets no matter if it’s a house, vehicle or an animal it lets your imagination run freely. Its one of the reasons why its one of the LEGO® Systems that’s make you wan to build more. |
There different variations of a Beaver but most of these rodent-like creatures are nocturnal in nature. They basically the ones who roam the night scavenging or hunting for food. They are actually second-largest rodent in the world after the capybara. Their colonies create one or more dams to provide still, deep water to protect against predators, and to float food and building material.
Interesting how these creatures have multiplied throughout three continents of the planet. But this LEGO® set is the family of one and would probably be based from the North American Beaver.

Bustin’ Beaver
The first alternate build from the Fierce Flyer set (31004) is of course a Beaver consists mainly of two different shades of brown since the Bald Eagle is mainly having all that pieces when it was put together.
This Beaver looks lean and cuddly looking if you haven’t looked closely. It takes you less than 30 minutes to build it in the second instruction manual booklet included in the set. Closely checked what you need to put this Beaver is compose of 98 pieces.

Creature Beaver
When you finally put together this Beaver at first look at the packaging art this appears big. But you’ll try not to expect anything out of the alternate build to be smaller than what was implied in the photos.
The tail is articulated supported by a ratchet-joint connector while the legs are limited to swivel and the arms are just limited to what the pieces of elements this set have. But you’ll probably appreciate the main build of the set namely the Fierce Flyer.
