LEGO® Classic | Blue Creativity Box

06.04.2019 – LEGO® produce many themes for their brand that is allocated to age groups as being established early in the 1970s. Over the years the themes evolved with some being discontinued and there are some had re-introduced into different product keeping it relevant and fresh.

Internationally, LEGO® has become a global powerhouse but still keeps their roots firmly to the ground that they keep the legacy through the their in-house theme which brings you to the LEGO® Classic that wants you to build through your imagination.

Speed Champions | Ford Mustang Fastback

05.18.2018 – The 1968 Mustang Fastback is an iconic car for Ford Motors Corporation. It’s identified as one of the first generation Mustang but with sportier in appearance besides reaching pop culture status when it was featured in Steve McQueen’s Bullitt.

LEGO has the Speed Champions theme and features mostly circuit cars of the up market ones that you hardly see in the streets. This is the not the first time that LEGO has produced a Mustang as a set, but knowing Ford known as one of the everyday car it has its own heritage with its classic Mustang GT Fastback.

LEGO® Classic 10403 | World Fun

05.11.2018 – The LEGO® brick is sixty years old and what a way to celebrate it is the release of the Classic sets with the anniversary. There are five sets that were produced just for this year that includes a special anniversary tile. But what makes it more special is the way the sets are produced.

Each of this set features a certain theme of its own and some of the interesting builds. This year they also included some minifigures to the set that is exclusive for the theme and you’ll be having fun creating new adventures like the 10403 World Fun!

LEGO® Creator 31079 | Beach Buggy

04.27.2018 – Summer Adventures won’t be that fun without spending the nearby beaches with the LEGO® Creator Sunshine Surfer Van set number 31079. It’ one of the must sets to get if you’re ready for a long road trip ahead.

The primary build will always the main favorite, but sometimes the secondary or third build grows on you that you’ve forgotten why you bought the set for. For this set from spending the days in the beaches to volunteering in a Lifeguard Tower this set takes a closer look at the third build namely the Beach Buggy!

LEGO® Dimensions | Knight Rider

04.23.2018 – LEGO® as a brand continues to be ahead of its counterparts that imitates the original interlocking brick technology. The brand expands its themes acquiring licenses from various franchises like Star Wars or DC Comics. But how about making it relevant in the digital world?

That’s where LEGO® Dimensions came about joining the “toys-to-life” concept, where a figure or toy is put in a pad that it can interact digitally in the game. Sadly Dimensions was cancelled in October 2017 but the sets have become popular.

LEGO® Creator 31079 | Lifeguard Tower

04.20.2018 – Building the LEGO® Creator Sunshine Surfer Van was both exciting at the same time challenging for any novice builder or with the kids age range. It’s well detailed and had its own narrative to tell when putting it together for the first time.

But what if you take it apart and rebuilt it for the secondary build? It changes the idea of what the Sunshine Surfer Van was trying to convey. Unlike the Space Shuttle Explorer that explains it back story this one gives you adventures of two minifigures besides hanging out and catching up the waves…

LEGO® Creator 31079 | Sunshine Surfer Van

04.13.2018 – For the first half of 2018 LEGO has unveiled their Creator sets that look promising with most of them now having included minifigures. Though you’ll see fewer vehicles and more about structures and building there’s still balance there.

But one set would probably the most attractive them all in four wheels and that is the Sunshine Surfer Van with set number 31079 that has been revealed some time in the last quarter of 2017. It’s the set that tells you its time to hit the beach and get ready for summer in most countries that definitely today’s spotlight!

LEGO® Classic 10402 | Fun Future

04.09.2018 – LEGO® is celebrating 60 years with the Classic theme promoting the “Building Bigger Thinking” campaign for 2018, which is an anniversary set with other four that have the same style of packaging.

The “Fun Future” kit with set number 10402 is a starter pack for the young minds that just caught the attention of LEGO® that certainly open its doors for creativity. LEGO® Creator 31066 | Space Rover

04.06.2018 – The Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) or lunar rover was one of the transport vehicles that the three Apollo programs (15, 16, and 17) during 1971 and 1972 popularly known as "moon buggy", a play on the word "dune buggy" has become component part that essentially used for space exploration.

LEGO Creator’s Space Shuttle Explorer can be rebuilt into the “Moon Base” or Lunar Outpost and its third build can be recreated into the Space Rover, which is a modern inspiration from the actual LRV that was left on the moon surface.

LEGO® Creator 31066 | Moon Station

03.30.2018 – This Creator 3-in-1 themes is unique on its own separate from the expert editions. Over the years the series continues to evolve that include interesting pieces with innovative ideas making it one of the best products for the LEGO brand.

The Space Shuttle Explorer from 2017 has been one of those underrated sets that rarely given attention that it’s starting to be sold out in parts of South Australia. This interesting set is the alternate build which is part of the narrative in building the Moon Station.

LEGO® Creator 31066 | Space Shuttle Explorer

03.23.2018 – Space may be the final frontier and this theme has been part of LEGO since the early days of the brand. There was an entire theme dedicated to a space theme that long time fans who grew up hoping to see it again.

But for those who just want to appreciate any random theme the Space Shuttle Explorer set number 31066 may be the one for those who are into Creator. Its also one of those themes that younger kids might take up interest in science and space exploration who knows you’ll probably inspired by this set too.

LEGO® Star Wars 75166 | Transport Speeder

02.23.2018 – There have been several Star Wars Battle Packs that have been released towards the end of 2016 and early 2017 that contains four minifigures and a vehicle. But this is not the first time LEGO has produced sets based on this theme.

The concept has been incorporated to this license brand since the first mini drop ship was produced sometime in 2007 and LEGO continue to develop this type of theme that is affordable for every Star Wars fan out there. But this First Order Transport Speeder Battle Pack could be one of the best set so far.

LEGO® Creator 31009: Windmill!

11.29.2015 – Usually the secondary builds for the Creator 3 in 1 sets are not that sort of favorites. Rarely gets the attention which depends on how the designers manage to use the elements from the primary build like the Creator Small Cottage (31009).

It’s a hit or misses depending on how a particular set is designed and can be rebuilt into something closely to that particular theme.

LEGO® Shell 40193: 512 S!

11.25.2015 – LEGO® and Shell have been collaborating for a long time since its inclusion of a tanker truck in the mid-1970s. In 2012 and 2014 Shell released an exclusive promo that LEGO® produced sets based on some famous Ferrari cars.

This not including the Ferrari teams from Formula 1 racing that featured minifigures, but also the technicians who created the cars that you see on the road or in the circuit. Back in the 1970s Ferrari produced a rare car for a competition and that is the 512 S.

LEGO® Creator 31009: Small Cottage!

11.22.2015 – LEGO® Creator continue to bring more impressive sets either a structure, vehicle or a creature they are colourful and a sight to be impressed.

This Small Cottage (31009) was released in 2013 which is quite simple, but has an impressive detail that has a lot of colors and an interesting minifigure with lots of accessories.

KRE-O ® Transformers: Dino-Charge!

11.17.2015 – KRE-O Transformers continue to expand with sets and minifigures based from the classic Generation 1 series to the Michael Bay live action films. One of the sets released during the ‘Age of Extinction’ line is the Dino Charge set.

It doesn’t need an explanation that it had a Dinobot in this set that’s charging to war with an Autobot riding on its back. But there’s more to this set than meets the eye though not that much interest it has a gimmick that differs from other sets.

LEGO® Creator 31004: Venomous Scorpion!

11.15.2015 – The third and final look at LEGO® 31004 Fierce Flyer set is the alternate build of the Venomous Scorpion. Out of the three this possibly the not-so favorite build due to not because of being a fierce predatory arachnid, but it separates itself from being as impressive as a Bald Eagle or a Beaver.

But the details on how it was put together can a bit of a challenging and at the same time as enjoyable to be look at how it came together.

LEGO® Creator 31004: Beaver!

11.08.2015 – After putting together the Fierce Flyer the alternate builds for the Creator 3-in-1 set takes a closer look at the Beaver. Nope it does not have a first name like Justin but it’s certainly a rodent-like creature worth taking a second look.

Creator themes are great way to explore your skills in building sets no matter if it’s a house, vehicle or an animal it lets your imagination run freely. Its one of the reasons why its one of the LEGO® Systems that’s make you wan to build more.

LEGO® TMNT 30271: Mikey's Mini-Shellraiser!

11.07.2015 – There has been popular licensed themes from LEGO®, but most of them are just one-offs meaning they don’t last more than three years unlike Star Wars that has been around since the late 1990s.

But most of these one-offs are unique that makes them more invitingly collectible such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which has been discontinued by LEGO®. Their competitor just recently announced that they’ll now produce their version of the TMNT line, but before they do here is Mikey’s Mini-Shellraiser!

LEGO® Shell 40191: F12 Berlinetta!

11.04.2015 – The F12berlinetta or simply the F12 is a luxury supercar manufactured by Italian car maker Ferrari. Its one of the cars included in the promotional partnership between LEGO® and Ferrari that was available only when you fuel up at any Shell station.

Shell had a special promotion for the second time in bringing the exclusive only Ferrari related building toy produced by LEGO® in 2014. The F12berlinetta is included as one of the four cars that were sold. Its name somewhat shares with the 2012 Shell promotional car the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta!
