Toy Expo 2024 | The Realm of Ninjago

The Toy Kingdom Toy Expo returns after a very long hiatus, but its return certainly shows that this event is something to look forward to for the next iteration. The years of this event’s absences has been thought that it can no longer return. But here it is, ready for the next new toys as a “preview” for the holiday season in three months.

In those 6 years of no Toy Expo, the LEGO brand has changed distribution hands with current importer Ban Kee Trading, making sure it continues to stick to the philosophy while staying competitive with other construction brands only available in the Southeast Asian Region.

Ninjago: Dragons Rising | Shangri-La Mall

LEGO® introduced the Ninjago theme in 2011 and has become one of the brand’s flagship series, which produced an animated series, comic books, and even a movie back in 2017. It has become =ongest running original themed set since Bionicle back in 2001.

LEGO® Ninjago | Garmadon #1

LEGO® as company continue to expand not only in creating new sets yearly, but also how they market their brand. In the age or original content it’s been a challenge to create stories based on all-new content. This includes creating a mythology for something it is based from a LEGO® theme.

Ninjago is an original LEGO® creation and has been around for more than a decade expanding into an animated CGI series, and the 2015’s feature length theme. IT is considered one of the longest original content from LEGO® that continue to release its own themed sets and going back to its original roots why it is popular with children and those who have grown up to pass the toys to their own kids.

There hasn’t been LEGO® Ninjago published in the realm of the comicbooks or graphic novels until Skybound Entertainment, the creators of The Walking Dead acquiring the rights to produce a new series that would delve through the original characters from world of Ninjago, and also introduce Garmadon to the world!
