HW Experimotors | Custom Small Block

Hot Wheels is not associated with Construction Toys, but for those not updated that their parent company is Mattel which now owns Mega Brands (formerly Mega Bloks) since 2014. But Mattel’s Hot Wheels did introduce a die-cast car that has studs in them the year before in the form of the Fig Rig truck.

After so many variations of the die-cast cars that let you put a Mega Bloks figure or a LEGO Minifigure, They finally produced a die-cast car that you can be able to swap parts using studs built-in to the cars’ plastic chassis!

Mega Brands | Replacement Parts Policy

06.18.2019 – There’s a lot of products out there that is being produced by toy manufacturers out there, that chances are that you might end up buying one with a quality issue. This is one in a million that you end up with a defected product that these companies made sure they put warranty clause in each one.

With Mega Brands Inc, the parent company of Mega Bloks and their Mega Construx building toys make sure customer service is in place if there’s a chance that one customer might end up with product defect either it slipped past from their quality control or the aforementioned piece in the product is broken.

Mega Bloks Minions: Kevin!

09.07.2015 – The Minions are now iconic superstars on their right. Having appeared in “Despicable ME” animated films, featured in selected Universal theme parks, and appeared in countless shorts included in the home release they certainly ruled.

The yellow banana-obsessed men also broke the records in “The Minions” their spin off movie. Now they are in block form courtesy of Mega Bloks, which is still a rarity in the Philippines, where blind bags have not arrived and one of those minifigs would be Kevin!

Mega Bloks Minions Set Sightings!

09.05.2015 – The Minions movie has been breaking box offices all over the world, and still the Philippines doesn’t have enough of the Mega Bloks toys that preceded by this film. But slowly the local distributor is catching up on the little yellow guys.

Just in case you haven’t been going around Toy Kingdom you might spot two new sets featuring one Minion depicted in a particular scene in the movie...

MEGA® BLOKS Call of Duty Sightings!

02.05.2014 – Call of Duty is a popular first person and third person videogame shooting franchise. It was first released for the PC and then followed to game consoles and handheld games. There were several spin-offs expanding the franchise to what is now one of the well-known shooting games in this era.

The popularity of this game which was produced by Activision expands to merchandise like action figures, card games and of course construction toys manufactured by Mega Brands Inc., which is the parent company that produces MEGA BLOKS.

Mega Bloks The Smurfs: 10703 Lazy Smurf!

05.04.2011 – The Smurfs is coming to Mega Bloks and it looks like Mega Brands is expanding their licensing rights with Peyo’s creation, that’s about to get a live action film treatment this year.

The new sets which were first sighted earlier this year in Korea is slowly appearing in other countries, which include the Philippines but currently there’s no sighting. But here is one set featuring Lazy Smurf to entertain you this summer!

Mega Bloks Halo Hero Pack 2: Red UNSC Spartan!

02.22.2011 – Halo the popular videogame from Microsoft’s X Box game console has finally made it into the construction/build toy realm following Mega Bloks competitor and pioneer LEGO with their “Halo Hero Pack” series of micro figures.

In the Philippines the series 2 “Halo Hero Pack” makes it to retail market and its immediately gobbled up for its growing popularity.

Mega Bloks: Halo Wars Hero Series 2!

02.16.2011 – Mega Bloks is jumping in the blind bag trend to compete with the pioneering brand with their Halo Wars line of micro action figures. The ones available in the Philippines have been sold out due to the popularity of the characters.

Halo Wars for its popularity in the X Box game console game is expanding its world in block form courtesy of Mega Bloks who have the rights. This is where the Halo line of building toy is going putting together world that had a cult following.

Mega Bloks At World's End: Brethren's Court 1057!

02.08.2011 – The Pirates Caribbean: At World’s End, which is the final instalment of the first trilogy that Mega Bloks produced a lot of sets based from the said film. Mega Bloks originally had the rights to all three movies from Disney, since they started producing sets starting with Dead Man’s Chest.

They replaced their generalized version of their pirates theme with “Pirates of the Caribbean," which directly competes with another brand that had a similar theme.
