KRE-O ® G.I. Joe Series 2: Ripper!

09.25.2015 – When you talk about the Dreadnocks the first thing that comes up in your mind is a band of misfits led by Zartan, a master in disguise. Zartan can change his skin color when exposed to sunlight, but never was about band of misfits.

The toys of course have all the Dreadnok members, but in KRE-O only a handful was produced and one of them is popular due to his whiny voice. He’s name is Ripper a Dreadnok who has specialty in ripping out on everything metal and more about him…

HW Surf Patrol 74 of 250: Pedal Driver!

09.23.2015 – There have been diecast cars that Hot Wheels has recently produced for the LEGO® minifigure to ride on. Though they are not entirely buildable or construction-based toys they have studs and handles bars for them to interact.

You’ve got the Fig Rig and Let’s Go kart that can also have KRE-O figures that can ride too. But before Mattel had acquired the Mega Brands, which is the mother company of Mega Bloks they’re incompatible until the Pedal Driver was released.

Mega Bloks Minions: Bob with Tim!

09.21.2015 – The Minions are a fund bunch of little men serving under Gru, but that all changed during the course of the “Despicable ME” animated films. A third one is in the works though after the hit spinoff.

The popularity of these yellow banana-crazed dudes has produced Happy Meal toys, action figures, and Mega Bloks minifigs, which are rarely available packed in sets. The blind bags series however has been unavailable in the Philippines…

HW Race Team 126 of 250: Let's Go!

09.09.2015 – Lately if you haven’t seen Hot Wheels cars built for Minifigures then you must have been missing something. Hot Wheels have already produced three diecast cars dedicated for most construction toy brands like LEGO® and KRE-O.

But not entirely made for Mattel’s recently acquired Mega Brands that produce Mega Bloks sets and micro figures (same scale with LEGO® minifigs). “Let’s Go” is one of the diecast cars produced by Hot Wheels and it’s already on its 4th variant in white!

Mega Bloks Minions: Kevin!

09.07.2015 – The Minions are now iconic superstars on their right. Having appeared in “Despicable ME” animated films, featured in selected Universal theme parks, and appeared in countless shorts included in the home release they certainly ruled.

The yellow banana-obsessed men also broke the records in “The Minions” their spin off movie. Now they are in block form courtesy of Mega Bloks, which is still a rarity in the Philippines, where blind bags have not arrived and one of those minifigs would be Kevin!

KRE-O ® G.I. Joe Series 5: Lifeline!

09.04.2015 – Kre-O’s G.I. Joe line may not have any new sets, but most of the micro figures continue to make its way to US retail and as convention exclusives. Currently the blind bags are a hot commodity in the community due to its limited release.

The latest series so far is Wave 5 which features another 12 characters from the “A Real American Hero” line and a member from the classic 1970s Adventure Team. For now here’s a closer look at G.I. Joe Team’s resident field medic – Lifeline!

KRE-O ® G.I. Joe Series 2: Tunnel Rat!

11.01.2014 – G.I. Joe is an Elite Team and each soldier is unique with their designated expertise. You won’t see any cannon fodder unlike in the ranks of the Cobra Legion that some might appear redundant in appearance.

But with G.I. Joe each character would probably your favorite hero. There’s no other Joe that’s not unique and when you talk about a special character few comes to mind unless you haven’t seen the G.I. Joe Movie in 1986 that featured Tunnel Rat!

KRE-O ® G.I. Joe Series 2: Land Adventurer!

10.16.2014 – G.I. Joe has been Hasbro’s property since first introduced in 1964 with 12 inch figures represented four of the branches of the U.S. armed forces. But by the 1970s it features a different kind of military unit with the Adventure Team.

This line of action figures introduced the features such as "Kung-Fu Grip", "Life-Like Hair" and "Eagle Eyes". But when Hasbro & OxFord Toys team-up to bring this team in block form for their KRE-O G.I. Joe line they produced them as a rare special.

KRE-O ® G.I. Joe Series 3: Torch!

10.01.2014 – When you talk about Kre-O and the G.I. Joe brand the line will have “good versus evil” concept. Of course you’ve known a lot of Joes out there but what about the hierarchy of the Cobra legion?

Cobra is a large terrorist organization and it has its own sub group that sometimes mistaken to be anti-heroes when they are actually not. The Dreadnoks is that sub group of punks, thieves, and psychos led by Zartan and one of his lackeys is Torch!

KRE-O ® G.I. Joe Series 3: Lady Jaye!

09.23.2014 – Kre-O continues to expand the brand with established properties under Hasbro other licensed rights from movies, videogames, and television series. Currently they have TransFormers, Dungeons & Dragons, Star Trek, and G.I. Joe.

The most popular interest for the Kre-O brand is the blind bags, which has been consistent with G.I. Joe. The third wave only included one female character in Lady Jaye based on her classic action figure!

KRE-O ® G.I. Joe Series 3: Low-Light!

09.06.2014 – If you grew up having the vintage G.I. Joe figures back in the day you’ll probably familiar with a few interesting characters that were introduced in the later part of the series.

Recently Hasbro’s Kre-O G.I. Joe blind micro figure blind bags pay tribute to the nostalgia of “A Real American Heroes.” One of them is Low-Light, which was part of the Wave 3 characters based from the vintage night spotter released in 1986…

HW Race 165 of 250: Let's Go!

08.18.2014 – For those who haven’t been reading up the news lately, that Mattel the parent company which owns Barbie and Hot Wheels as wells as iconic licensing rights for Masters of the Universe has acquired the Mega Brands.

The Canadian based company is the parent company, which manufactures the Mega Bloks construction toys. Mattel’s Hot Wheels just recently released the “Let’s Go” kart, which is actually made for their Hot Wheels micro figure.

KRE-O® Micro Changers: Hook!

03.10.2013 – Hook is a member of the Constructicons a major component when combined to form Devastator, but of course in Kreon form he’s not part of the team and if you have seen the Micro Changer combiners you’ll understand.

For now the solo adventures of Hook in putting together structures like Kreonsler building will suffice. At the same time take a closer look at one of the first few Kreons to come out in the Micro Changer Series 1 packs and this is Hook’s story!

Mega Bloks Halo Hero Pack 2: Red UNSC Spartan!

02.22.2011 – Halo the popular videogame from Microsoft’s X Box game console has finally made it into the construction/build toy realm following Mega Bloks competitor and pioneer LEGO with their “Halo Hero Pack” series of micro figures.

In the Philippines the series 2 “Halo Hero Pack” makes it to retail market and its immediately gobbled up for its growing popularity.
